In need of some repair could not test as hand crank is missing. See all pics of the inside. Sold As Is. Offering this antique 1900s Oak Telephone Magento 5 Horseshoe Magnet Telephone Bell Ringer Box. A telephone magneto is a hand-cranked electrical device that uses permanent magnets to produce alternating current from a rotating armature. The bells should ring when the box handle is cranked, but cannot test without the crank. This ringer is housed in a beautiful oak box, see all the pictures. Has finger joint corners with black painted bells. Please see pictures for the actual condition of this collectable telephone ringer box. Weighs almost 18 lbs. unboxed.Measures approximately 11" tall x 8" wide x 6" deep. Please see all the photos for details, and let me know if you have any questions.
