出品者コメントPre-Owned and nicely worn-in. A handful of small wear holes in the usual places, some repaired with fabric bond but nothing major. Definitely not pristine and a nice patina overall. Re-waxed 2 yrs ago and definitely waterproof. Clean with no unusual smell apart from that nice old waxed cotton aroma!

This is the older version with the Brass zipper-pulls and press studs, and is suitable for the press stud fleece inner liner (A297) - available in my separate listing. These jackets are at their best when worn-in in my opinion. They just don't look right when they're brand new and need some use to develop the subtle variation in color and texture that only a waxed cotton jacket can have. This particular jacket is just that. It's been my favorite jacket for sometime, and shows it - some areas of wear on the ends of the sleeves, one corner above the right lower pocket, and along the inner edge of the tartan lining. There's also a small hole in the back. Some of these areas have been patched with a liquid fabric adhesive to prevent further damage, but none of them are too significant. Knowing how much I like this jacket, my wife bought me a new Beaufort last year. Very sweet, but it's taken me a little time to break that one in. Much as I like my trusty old jacket, I really need to wear the new one as it saves a lot of questions! This is like saying goodbye to an old friend though, but I'm sure you'll love it and it will be your new 'go to' outdoors jacket - it's got plenty of adventures left in it. As you probably know, Barbour jackets are super versatile in a shabby-chic kind of way. The more worn it is, the richer you look! They're equally at home out in the country, in the city, or just walking the dog. The poachers pocket comes in particularly helpful when shopping.
